  • Tacos con Derechos Workshop

    Valley Forward is excited to present this interactive Worker Rights Workshop, brought to you in partnership with FIRM and Jakara Movement.

    This workshop will be led by divisions of the California Department of Industrial Relations and designed to equip you with the knowledge and resources needed to identify and address Wage Theft, Retaliation, Workplace Hazards, as well as information outlining Workers' Compensation. The workshop will also provide a platform for questions and answers, as well as space to work shoulder-to-shoulder with community advisors to file a complaint or claim form to empower your ownership of Workers' Rights in your workplace.

  • Tacos con Derechos Resource Fair


    We are honored to announce the next Tacos con Derechos Resource Fair at JFK Park in Sanger. We have chosen this space in memoriam of Jesus "Chuy" Salazar, and Jose Abrego, two Pitman Farms workers who lost their lives on the job. Our purpose for this fair is to ensure that the community and working families of Sanger know their rights as workers, and connect them with the resources and organizations that are dedicated to supporting them.
